Holy Spirit National High School was established in 2003 to address the growing demand for accessible public secondary education within the Holy Spirit community in Quezon City. It originally operated as a campus extension of Commonwealth High School, providing foundational learning for a small cohort of junior and senior high school students.
As the local population grew, the school expanded its campus infrastructure and academic offerings to accommodate more learners. In 2008, it was officially renamed Holy Spirit National High School, marking its transition into an independent national institution and strengthening its institutional identity to better serve the community’s educational needs.
Today, Holy Spirit National High School operates under the Schools Division Office of Quezon City as a large-scale public institution. It continues to deliver quality basic education while adapting to the evolving demands of modern urban public schooling.
